Ingredients
- 1g whole wheat pita bread (6-inch)
- 2g tablespoons low-sodium marinara sauce
- 1/4 cup shredded low-fat mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup sliced mixed bell peppers (red, yellow, or green)
- 1/4 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
- 5g Kalamata olives, pitted and sliced
- 1/4g teaspoon dried oregano
- Pinch of garlic powder
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Steps
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Lightly spray a small baking sheet or pizza pan with cooking spray.
- Place the whole wheat pita bread on the prepared baking sheet.
- Spread the marinara sauce evenly over the pita, leaving a small border for the crust.
- Sprinkle half of the low-fat mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
- Arrange the sliced bell peppers, mushrooms, and Kalamata olives evenly across the pizza.
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese over the vegetables.
- Dust with dried oregano and a pinch of garlic powder for enhanced Italian flavor.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the pita edges are lightly golden and crisp.
- Carefully remove the pizza from the oven.
- If desired, garnish with fresh basil leaves.
- Let it cool for a minute before slicing and serving immediately.
